Hummus Dip

Step 1: Place 600g rinsed chickpeas, 3 crushed garlic cloves, 100ml olive oil, 2 tablespoons tahini paste, 1 teaspoon ground cumin and the lemon juice from 1 lemon in a food processor and process until combined. Add salt and pepper, 1/4 cup (60ml) of water and process again until quite smooth.

Step 2: Place hummus in a bowl and serve with toasted Turkish bread.
